The state of Himachal Pradesh was called 'Deva Bhoomi ' or the Land of the Gods. There are evidences of the existence of the pre-historic humans in this region. It is generally believed that large inhabitants of this region had actually migrated from Central Asia and the Indian plains from time to time. The first race to enter Himachal Pradesh was Proto-Australoid followed by Mongoloid and the Aryan.

Day 01 : Delhi - Chail ( 355km/9hr )
Leave Delhi after an early breakfast. Spend the night in the Banjara Camp, Chail. |
Day 02 : Chail - Sangla ( 219km/8hr )
Leave after breakfast. Drive to Banjara Camp, Sangla. Spend the night in the camp. |
Day 03 : Sangla
Visit Chitkul (3,450mts) - 20kms from the camp. This is the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Lunch along the glacier fed mountain stream.

Day 04 : Sangla
Walk up to the Sangla meadows to see the Kinner Kailash range in all its majesty or take a walk to the glacier point. Also available Paragliding, river crossing or angling for trout. Bonfire in the evening. |

Day 05 : Sangla - Tabo ( 182km/7hr )
Visit Nako enroute. Spend the night in the Banjara Retreat, Tabo. |
Day 06 : Tabo
Visit the 1006-year old Tabo monastery in the morning. After lunch, visit the Pin Valley. Drive back to Banjara Retreat at tabo for overnight stay.

Day 07 : Tabo - Kaza ( 47km/2hr )
Visit the Ki monastery and Gete - one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Lunch at Gete. Check into Banjara Retreat Kaza. Overnight in Banjara Retreat, Kaza.

Day 08 : Kaza - Manali ( 201km/10hr )
Drive to Manali via 4,551M high Kunzum Pass and the 3,978m high Rohtang Pass. Check into Hotel Naggar Castle for overnight stay.
Day 09 : Manali
Day of leisure and local sightseeing.
Day 10 : Manali - Delhi ( 550km/14hr )
After an early breakfast, drive to Delhi via Chandigarh.
